Meeting Agenda and Notes

This Week's Meeting:

1) Cinco de Mayo update from the committee
2) MASP Committee Reports
3) Any changes to our scholarship structures?
4) Discussion of next week's evening meeting. Our Lt Gov will attend. Can we induct the new members that we were scheduled to last month?
5) Plea from your president for more response regarding the Mid Year. So far we have 2 yes and 1 maybe. We used to have a decent to good turn out for this kind of thing. Why not now? What has changed? Why is there almost no club interest in the larger Kiwanis picture?

Last Week's Meeting:

1) Darshana gave us a detailed report on the Cinco event. She, RJ and Seth make up the committee. This will be a big event and there are many tasks to be assigned. We need a high degree on membership involvement for this event. Circle K will also be able to help.
On that subject, Surf City has advised that they sold 373 tickets to last year's crab feed. 328 for crab @ $35 and 45 for pasta only @$15
2) We voted to give Circle K $500 to help them get to their convention.

Coming up:
2/4 Governor's visit in Monterey. Tickets are going fast (not).
2/8 Evening Meeting. Presentation on the Kiwanis Eliminate Project
2/15 Circle K will visit and run our meeting on 2/15. Joe, let's give them that $500 donation at that time.
3/3 Mid Year Conference in Monterey
4/21 K Day trailer and tent clean up. Circle K to help. Key Club?
5/5 Cinco de Mayo event
5/5 Mt. Charlie BBQ
